There was an awesome storm early this morning, about 3AM. Lightning flashing every few seconds, lots of thunder and rain like a waterfall. I had the camera pointed out the window for quite a few long exposures, though I didn’t catch much. I was either on too low an f-stop, ended the exposure just moments before a really juicy strike, or just was pointing in the wrong direction.

This, believe it or not, was the best I got. Taken at roughly 03:15.

The massive glow at the top of the shot was ‘one that got away’ - if only I’d had the camera pointing a bit higher up.
