Lens Flare, Eclipsed

Olympus-C8080

The very fastest, smallest aperture setting my camera can do produced this result. I noticed the lens flare was showing the partial annular eclipse rather nicely so I just concentrated on getting that properly composed. The top one was taken at 09:30, the second at 10:04.

For the interested, the pictures were both taken with a shutter speed of 1/4000s, aperture f8.0 and exposure bias of -3.0.

I’ve submitted this to Photo Friday: Darkness
